This update adds the same visitor-statistics footer to the website and its public game pages. It is a view of anonymous browser sessions across one site.

A chart you can explore.

Today’s count is a running total. Choose a daily bar to see its total, switch between 7, 30 and 90 days, use the date picker, or move earlier and later through the available history. The footer shows when its data was last updated and refreshes every 30 seconds while the page is visible.

Bars can be selected with a pointer or keyboard. The chart’s keys stay within its controls, so exploring the daily totals does not move a game character.

Sessions, rather than people.

A first-party cookie with a rolling 24-hour lifetime joins visits from an anonymous browser session. That session counts once per America/New_York calendar day across the website; changing pages or refreshing does not create another count that day.

A different browser or a new session can count separately. A session returning on another day contributes to that day again, and the period total adds daily counts. These figures are not a count of identified people.

History starts when tracking does.

Today is marked as in progress. The first tracking day is partial, and earlier dates are “Not recorded.” History outside the retained window is also “Not recorded,” rather than an invented historical zero. Up to 365 days are retained.

Only the totals are public.

The counter stores aggregate daily totals and anonymous session digests for today and yesterday. It does not store IP addresses, raw session tokens or accounts, and the public chart exposes totals rather than identities. The website’s recording feature still downloads clips locally, with no kiosk or public-gallery upload.

The visitor counter is separate from standard access logs the web host may keep. The privacy page explains the session cookie and recording controls.

Current verification.

Local checks cover the shared frontend, calendar handling, response validation, page inheritance and links. Published totals begin with this release’s first recorded session; earlier visits are not backfilled.

Nine frontend checks, 79 counter checks and 69 game/package checks passed. Date-validation regressions include year boundaries and bounded history output, preserving normal daily-history behavior. A local browser pass verified the chart’s date ranges, daily selection, unrecorded dates, keyboard navigation, mobile fit and automatic refresh with focus preserved. The local history used for that check was synthetic test data; production history is not seeded.

After deployment, all 21 public pages passed desktop and 390 × 844 mobile checks: each showed one visitor footer, loaded daily totals and a current update timestamp without horizontal page overflow. Twenty-six live API checks passed, including Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax cookie attributes and same-session counting across pages. Moving between the pages kept that session’s count stable. A live automatic refresh advanced the update timestamp after 30.118 seconds while preserving the selected day, keyboard focus and session count.

The 3D recorder now brings the game frame back into view before opening its panel, keeping the heading visible after scrolling down to statistics. A local check confirmed the panel fits and the microphone remains off. This adjustment belongs to the website export; the original prototype remains preserved.

Future editorial pages inherit the footer through the shared template. New game wrappers use the same assets and endpoint, with chart-focus input guards. Meaningful changes continue to receive a relevant developer-journal entry.
