The local remake’s Sprite Studio now brings together individual PNG editing, alignment and named animation ordering in projects that the actual game can load. This update also corrects Bunny Botta’s flight, rear jet and underside cannon using the original source evidence and the creator’s intended unfinished design.

Choose a drawing. Check the motion.

The catalog covers all seven character identities across nine native atlases and 51 authored frames: Didga, Gazella, Gobma, Touchi, Grape Pop, Bunny Botta and the boss pilot. Select a frame, step through its sequence or play it at a chosen speed. The previous-pose overlay and facing preview help compare how the drawings connect.

Take a frame into your image editor.

  1. Choose the individual frame and use Download frame PNG.
  2. Open that PNG in your image editor, make the changes and save it as a PNG with transparency.
  3. Use Upload replacement frame for that selected frame, then adjust its crop and foot alignment.
  4. Preview it with the surrounding poses, save/apply the project and export a project backup.

The PNG carries the raw picture you redraw. The project keeps flip, alignment and named frame order separately, so bringing the PNG back preserves one application of the flip setting. Other frames retain their own artwork.

Arrange the animation.

Choose a named animation such as Run, then drag a step or use Move earlier and Move later. Preview the sequence before applying it. Frame identities stay fixed, and repeated poses can be moved as separate steps.

The saved order reaches actual game playback and travels in portable JSON. A native check saved a Run starting with frame 2, then frame 1, then frames 3–8; the game adopted that exact order after reload. The original source sheets remain preserved separately.

Keep the feet in place.

Image crop, foot anchor, scale, flip and X/Y offsets give each drawing its own alignment. Drag the artwork or use the nudge controls to line it up with the ground and origin. Undo and redo make it easy to compare a change with the previous pose.

Save an art project for the game.

Save & apply to game stores artwork, alignment and named animation order in this browser. Export a portable JSON project, including replacement images, to carry those edits to another browser, computer or host; import it there and apply it. Older saved frame projects still load.

Download animation PNGs exports the chosen sequence in its saved order. Download sheet & frame map exports an aligned sheet with matching order data. Original game sources and source music remain preserved separately.

Bunny Botta takes flight.

Reading the original code and bitmaps confirmed flying patrols and rear jets. The cannon cycle completes the creator’s unfinished design: one blue underside barrel lifts, aims and launches a painted missile toward the position locked before firing. Rear thrust stays behind the shell, and its hover clears the unchanged platforms.

Verify the whole round-trip.

All 92 automated checks passed: 87 game checks and five packaging checks. A native PNG download/re-upload retained pixel-identical raw artwork and transparency under Flip artwork. Move buttons, timeline dragging and undo/redo passed, including independent movement of repeated pilot Walk poses. Save/reload and portable JSON retained the custom order, and both the ordered eight-PNG ZIP and aligned-sheet frame map matched it with valid CRC checks.

Native left/right cannon checks aligned the missile launch with the barrel mouth. Flight, staged cannon behavior, pause/save and the pilot route passed their regression checks. Existing saved alignment edits and game progress were retained. The earlier editor layout passed a 390 × 844 mobile check; this revision’s native interaction pass used desktop.

The new portable build was verified across all 133 archive entries, complete dependencies, original audio and the four remixes. All 23 original source files remain unchanged. The painted remake and editor are available locally; the public preserved games continue to use their original editions.
